2023 GEORGE RICO MUSIC SCHOLARSHIP
Scholarship History:
In memory of George Rico, a Lane Tech music teacher for many years. Mr. Rico’s love of music not only inspired his students, but his fellow Lane Tech faculty and those that were fortunate enough to know him personally. This scholarship is available to a Lane Tech graduate demonstrating a passionate intention to enroll in higher education as a music student. If music has changed your life, this is the scholarship you should be applying for.
Scholarship Award:
$ 2,000 total award to one (1) student.
Criteria/Eligibility:
Lane Tech student with an expected Spring, 2023 graduation date.
The scholarship award is based on scholastic ability, academic excellence and financial need.
Demonstrates a passionate interest in the study of music.
Commitment to enroll in higher education as a music student.
Acceptance to an accredited college or university.
