2024 GUNDERSON FAMILY – FIRST GENERATION SCHOLARSHIP (RENEWABLE)
This scholarship is established by Kim and Cory Gunderson ‘87, who are both first generation college graduates. Their college experiences have inspired them to offer that same opportunity to deserving first generation, college-bound Lane Tech seniors. Established 2023
$5,000 each year for four (4) years renewable each year provided that the student submits evidence of being a full-time student in good standing.
Requirements for renewal will include (but not be limited to) the following: Interview at the end of freshman year and good academic standing including requisite credit hours and a minimum 2.5 GPA
This scholarship will be awarded to one (1) graduating senior.
Lane Tech student with an expected Spring 2024 graduation date.
The scholarship award is based on scholastic ability and academic excellence.
Consideration will be given to financial need.
Extracurricular involvement both inside and outside of Lane, including work experience.
Acceptance and confirmed intent to attend an accredited college or university.
Unweighted GPA of 3.25 or higher.
