This scholarship was established by Alexis Moreno ’13 as a tribute to his physics teacher, Ms. Stacy Ewing, whose passion for science inspired countless students. Her influence transformed Mr. Moreno’s academic focus, created a desire for life-long learning, and set him and others on a path to success in college and beyond. Established 2020.
$1,500 per awarded recipient as a one-time total award.
This scholarship will be awarded to two (2) graduating seniors.
The awardee will also receive the book “How to Win Friends and Influence People” by Dale Carnegie and be expected to write a letter to the donor on lessons learned.
Lane Tech student with an expected June graduation date.
The scholarship award is based on scholastic ability, academic excellence and financial need.
Priority will be given to minority and/or female students that overcame struggles with their GPA.
Intends to study and pursue a STEM career.
Acceptance to an accredited college or university.
